Cranberry Sauce- made it myself!

So, I've started adding some lean proteins back into my diet. Not happy about it, but I've gotta say, I think I feel a bit better physically. I like to make turkey sandwiches on toasted english muffins. They roast turkeys at a grocery store near me and I usually get a few fresh slices of breast meat and use them for sandwiches. Since it's getting to be Thanksgiving, there's cranberry sauce on every endcap of every aisle in the stores. I grabbed a can last week and added some to my sandwiches. Of course, it's got corn syrup and stuff that I don't want on my sandwich, so I decided to try to make my own... in my beloved slow cooker.

I started out with some fresh cranberries

After adding brown sugar, white sugar, OJ, and water, I let it do its thing for a couple hours.
Then I smooshed it all up, and slapped it on a sandwich. 

I canned the rest for later and maybe to bring to my Thanksgiving host/hostess!
