30 day project: day 9

Day 9 of the 30 day project: A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

It seems like I talk more about Lisa's daughter Shay than I do about her, but I can honestly say I have no idea where I'd be without this girl. We met when our girls were 21 months and 9 months old, respectively. They're one year and one day apart. We were in Early Intervention classes together, suddenly thrown into this world of special needs. We've walked through it all together and we continue to cheer each other (and each other's kids) on, or crawl in bed together if one of us is depressed. We are family now; bonded through something neither of us ever expected. Lisa is also the single reason why I had to sign up for unlimited texting on my phone :)

Lucky girls. I don't really have another CDH or Deaf kid mommy/friend like that.
