30 day project: day 12

Day 12 of the 30 day project: A picture of something you love

Hole in the wall cafes.
A couple days ago I stopped into a small, fun, funky cafe called
Taste Budds in Red Hook, NY.

Very artsy, colorful cafe with local artists' wares hanging on the wall. Serving coffee, homemade pastries, chocolates, and delicious foods. I had the avocado melt.

They even had a Kid Art/Book area for the bird

It reminded me of a great coffee shop I hung out at as a teenager. It was called The Happening and it was dark with great art and good coffee. Plus, they always had moon pies. Mmmmm moon pies.

We had a lot of those when I lived just outside Baltimore. Now I am about 30 minutes out of Manhattan and don't seem to have any here or there :(

An Avacado melt sounds divine! I love hole-in-the-wall cafe's too. I'd rather support them than Starbucks.
